2 Day Christian History Tour Washington DC

Washington DC has a long, rich history for people of faith. The fact that this nation was founded on Judeo-Christian values makes DC a great location for exploring the heritage of people of faith. From our founding fathers to our present-day leaders, Christianity is well-represented in Washington DC. 

This Two-Day Christian Tour is perfect for those groups who have limited time but want to see the highlights of our national capital. The tour can be customized to include the sites and attractions that your group want to visit most within the time you have.

The tour focuses on four main areas to visit, but may be customized to your specifications. Those areas include the Arlington National Cemetery, the Monuments and Memorials, the Capitol Hill area, and optional museum visits including the new Museum of the Bible.

Your Christian Tour Guide will lead you through a variety of sites in DC where you will discover the many locations throughout the city where God is both acknowledged and glorified.

Tour Day 1

After a quick stop near the White House for a photo opportunity, we are off to Arlington National Cemetery, where we will see the Changing of the Guard and visit the resting place of many brave men and women. Next, we are off to the monuments and Memorials to learn about the lives of our Founding Fathers and how they worked to establish and preserve our nation and our Freedoms. Finally, we will make a stop at the Holocaust Museum, one of the most-important museums in Washington DC.

Day 2

Today we will take a look into our National Government and how the Christian faith has helped to shape our way of life in America. Starting with a Tour of the Capitol Building and the Supreme Court we will learn of the impact of our government on every aspect of life. We will also visit the beautiful Library of Congress where you will see a Gutenberg Bible and more. We will finish with a visit to the Museum of the Bible, one of the newest and most-popular venues for people of faith.
